Gurugram: Uber has announced the expansion of its Uber Intercity Motorhomes campaign to Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Pune, following an overwhelmingly positive response to its pilot program in Delhi NCR.
The exclusive offering, which allows riders to book custom-designed, caravan-style vehicles for outstation travel, will remain operational in Delhi NCR until December 31, 2025.
Starting October 15, travellers in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune will be able to book Uber Intercity Motorhomes trips, with bookings opening from October 13.
The pilot, launched in August 2025 to promote long-distance road travel, recorded full occupancy throughout its month-long run in Delhi NCR. Strong demand from riders seeking comfort-first and private travel experiences has prompted Uber to extend and expand the initiative.

The expansion comes at a time when the October to December period traditionally witnesses heightened demand for outstation travel, driven by festivals, weddings, and pleasant weather conditions.
Premium Amenities and Seamless Booking Experience
Each Uber Intercity Motorhome features modern amenities such as a television, microwave, mini-refrigerator, and lavatory, offering a private, lounge-like travel experience. The vehicles accommodate four to five passengers and include both a driver and a helper for on-trip assistance.

Bookings for Uber Intercity Motorhomes can be made through Uber Reserve, which enables advance reservations, multiple stops, real-time tracking, and round-the-clock live support. Due to limited availability, riders are advised to book at least 48 hours prior to their planned travel date.
Uber Intercity now connects travellers across more than 3,000 routes across India, combining app-based reliability with the flexibility of long-distance road journeys.
